San Domingo escape

This weekend was my version of perfect!  We headed across the Bay to one of my favorite places, San Domingo Creek for a trip into St. Michaels.  We hit the Chesapeake Maritime Museum for a classic boat festival, Eastern Shore Brewing for delicious brew, and enjoyed some swimming off the boat.  I loved it all.

Home Rehab

It's DONE!  The completely new dodger and bimini have been installed and I am soooooo happy!  The dodger is taller so that the Captain doesn't have to duck, the windows are removable, and everything just looks so nice!

Pool's Open!

Ok, it's been open since Memorial Day weekend, but it's just now getting warm enough to actually enjoy it.  Ketch 22 also has a little food/drink window at the pool that's pretty nice.  Bring on summer!

A nice, long weekend escape

We FINALLY had a good weather weekend!  We headed out right after school on Friday and headed up to Annapolis.  It was a beautiful night.  Even though we couldn't get on a mooring ball that night, we had a great anchorage off the USNA wall (and some great "attempts to anchor" entertainment!).

We relaxed, ran into old friends, and enjoyed some Annapolis classics (Pussers and Storm Brothers).  We had a heck of a downpour on Sunday, but we still managed to have some friends over for a bit and make a run to town.

The trip home was a little chilly, but still a great day on the water.  Good weather weekends have been rare this year!

Canvas!!!

The best things in life are worth the wait, right?  Well then, this bimini must be the best damn thing EVER!  After meeting the guys from the Cover Loft in Annapolis at the fall boat show, we arranged to have our bimini and dodger completely redone.  It's been a while since we wrote that first check, but the bimini got installed today and I am very impressed with the quality.  Can't wait for the dodger!
