Happy 239th B-day, U.S.A.!

This year, we decided to take a different approach to Independence Day.  Rather than follow the fireworks, we rocked into a nice cove on the Wye River just above Shaw Bay.  Eagles, heron, osprey, cow nose rays, and peace.  The weather was so much better then expected and we spent the day thoroughly enjoying the water.  Dinghy rides, paddle boarding, swimming, sparklers...it was just perfect.  Ok, it was a little cool for a bit, but then it got sunny and hot!  We were even treated to a nice fireworks show from one of the nearby houses.  It was all so wonderful.
