Independence

Celebrating our country's freedom with friends and family was simply amazing this weekend.  A front and storms passing through on the 3rd cancelled the marina's fireworks, but we still enjoyed nature's show.

The passing of Hurricane Arthur offshore brought us AMAZING weather for the weekend!  The 4th was pretty gusty so we stayed put and enjoyed a great cookout and wedding fireworks with our friends and neighbors.

We headed to St. Michaels for their fireworks on the 5th for our very first raft-up with our friends on Airborne.  It was a success!  Such a great time!

The sail back on Sunday was great, though we were reefed for my comfort.  :)   

I am so thankful that we are able to freely explore our shores.  I'm thankful for all the people that protect us daily.
